As the year comes to a close, the team at the True Measure Collaborative reflects on the strides we’ve made together and our vision for the future.

This year, we partnered with 27 schools across Washington, impacting over 4,000 students. Through personalized coaching, consulting, and professional development, we empowered teachers to create inclusive classrooms where multilingual learners and students with disabilities can succeed. The results speak volumes: 80% of educators who engaged with TMC reported that our support strengthened their ability to improve outcomes for their students.

Despite this progress, the need for this work remains urgent. Nationally, only 17% of teachers feel well-prepared to teach students with learning disabilities, and half are unsure that students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) can meet grade-level standards. These gaps underscore the importance of continuing to invest in professional development that builds teacher confidence and expertise.

As we prepare for the year ahead, we’re excited to expand our reach to support even more educators and students—over 7,000 in the current school year, and growing! Along the way, we’ll continue to share stories of impact, innovation, and the incredible resilience of our educators and school communities.

Hear from our Programs Team!

“As we look ahead to the rest of the school year, we’re energized by the opportunities to continue supporting educators and students. Every coaching workshop, onsite visit, and team work session is guided by our shared values of collaboration, growth, transparency, and accountability.

These principles not only shape our work but also strengthen our connections with each other and the school communities we serve. We’re proud to be part of this transformative work and look forward to making an even greater impact together.”

Stay tuned for more updates and ways to engage with the TMC. Together, we’re not just growing inclusive classrooms; we’re building a brighter, more equitable future for students across Washington.

With gratitude,
The True Measure Collaborative Team
